Are you a college student or high school senior ready to invest in kid’s lives through an overnight, justice-focused summer camp? We’re hiring for the amazing people who will make our summer camp come alive. Our staff provides social-emotional-focused and outdoor education discovery combined with math, science and reading activities throughout the day. All roles are compensated with a stipend as well as boarding and meals for the duration of camp.

The outdoor joy and discovery doesn’t stop after summer camp. We offer over 50 additional hours of hiking, camping and learning on the weekends through our year-round adventures. Our groups of campers, typically 10-25 per trip, are always excited to meet new friends. And we’re always happy to have help with transportation and volunteers who can chaperone the campers.

Our campers–energized by the leadership opportunities and those they look up to currently serving in those roles–consistently express excitement about being counselors and staff members when they get older. Through alumni programming and the development of a “Counselor-in-Training” program, we’ve created an opportunity for our high school alumni to further develop their leadership skills with Camp Phoenix.
